We are a Corporate Member of the National Federation of Demolition Contractors (NFDC) and actively engage with the National Demolition Training Group (NDTG) to ensure that our operatives have the necessary skills and competences to carry out their work function and comply with the relevant statutory provision.

All projects are fully assessed by senior management to ensure the health and safety of our own staff and those reasonably affected by our works. We are competent and adequately resourced to fulfil the role of CDM Coordinator and Principal Contractor under the current Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2007 (Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015) from the 6 April 2015).
The Company is conversant with the requirements of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (CAR) and supporting guidance e.g. Asbestos: The survey guide - HSG264 & Asbestos: The licensed contractors' guide - HSG247. All Frank O’Gara & Sons Ltd personnel have received either Category ‘A’ (Asbestos Awareness) or Category ‘B’ (Non-Licensed Asbestos Work) Training in line with Company & CCDO requirements. Commercial considerations often mean that demolition works are required to be carried out in a speedy and efficient manner.
